Artist Development
Independent Music.
Professional Development. Global Reach.
Great music is only the beginning.
JMJ Records works with serious independent recording artists who are ready to take the next step in developing their music, identity and professional career.
Founded by award-winning guitarist, composer and producer James Morgan, JMJ Records combines personal attention with real-world recording and industry experience to help artists develop their music and bring their creative vision to life.
Every artist and every project is different. Our approach begins by understanding where you are, where you want to go and what professional resources can help you get there.
Tell us where you want to go as an artist. We'll help you build the path to get there.
Music Production
Your music. Your identity. Professional support from concept through release.
A professional recording begins with the artist and the music.
JMJ Records helps artists bring their creative vision from the initial song and arrangement through recording, production and the finished master.
Through an established network of producers, arrangers, professional musicians, recording studios, engineers and other industry resources, we can assemble the team and level of support appropriate for each individual project.
Our goal isn't to change who you are as an artist. It's to help bring out the strongest professional version of your music while keeping your individual voice at the center of the project.
Music Marketing & Promotion
Great music deserves the opportunity to be heard.
Releasing music is only the beginning. Building awareness around an artist and a new release requires strategy, professional presentation, industry outreach and promotion.
JMJ Records develops customized marketing and promotional strategies based on the artist, music, release schedule and goals of each project.
Through professional relationships and industry resources, campaigns may incorporate radio promotion, targeted industry outreach, streaming opportunities, release marketing, promotional content, campaign tracking and other strategies designed to introduce the artist and music to listeners and industry professionals.
Professional strategy. Industry outreach. Worldwide exposure.
